Why are some historical works about saints, like those by Shri Dasganu Maharaj, not considered ideal for a focused Parayan on a single saint?

While the works of poets like Shri Dasganu Maharaj, such as "Shri Bhaktalilamrut," are valuable, they are not ideal for a Parayan or Saptah focused on a single saint. The reason for this, as stated in Chapter 0, is that the biographies within these collections are not comprehensive or detailed. A specific saint's life story might only occupy two or three pages, which is insufficient for an in-depth devotional study. For a proper Parayan, a detailed and comprehensive work like the "Shri Sai Satcharita" is necessary, as it provides the depth required for such a practice.
