Why are saints like Sai Baba considered to be beyond the fear of death?

📖 Chapter 43

Saints are said to be free from the fear of death because they have transcended the limitations of the physical body. Chapter 43 explains that for those happy in the bliss of Brahman, the delusion of Maya, including the fear of death, cannot touch them. They are free from the six-fold emotions and always remain in an unmanifest state. Since they have metaphorically turned their bodies to ashes even before the physical body falls, death is like dust before them. Death is simply the nature of the body, not a cause for sorrow.
