Who wrote the Shri Sai Satcharita and what was their motivation?

The Shri Sai Satcharita was written by Annasaheb Dabholkar. As detailed in Chapter 0, he undertook this monumental work primarily because he was commanded to do so by Shri Samarth Sadguru Sai Baba Maharaj himself. This divine instruction came after Annasaheb was liberated from his regular service.
