Who were the key people walking with Sai Baba during the Chavadi procession and what did they do?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 37

During the procession to the Chavadi, Sai Baba was surrounded by a close group of devotees who each had a specific role. As mentioned in Chapter 37, Tatyaba Patil held Baba's left hand, while Mhalasapati held His right hand, guiding and supporting Him. Bapusaheb Jog held a large umbrella over Baba's head to shelter Him. Additionally, two chowrie-bearers walked on either side, fanning Him with ceremonial fans. A mace-bearer walked in front, shouting Sai's name, and a herald would announce Baba's movements. This entire entourage, including the adorned horse Shyamakarna, created a royal and reverent procession.
