๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

Mhalasapati, Kashiram Shimpi, and Appa Jagle were residents of Shirdi who played a key role in providing hospitality to spiritual visitors. Chapter 0 describes Mhalasapati as a goldsmith and a devotee of Khandoba. He, along with his two companions, would serve and look after the various saints, Gosavis, Bairagis, and Fakirs who frequently came to the busy village of Shirdi. They would provide hospitality to these travelers according to their capacity. It was Mhalasapati who first greeted Maharaj with 'Aavo Sai Baba' and then introduced him to his companions, bringing him into the community life of the village.
