Who was Vijayananda, and what was his initial experience in Shirdi according to Chapter 31?

According to Chapter 31, Vijayananda was a sannyasi from Madras who was undertaking a pilgrimage to Mansarovar. Hearing of Sai Baba's worldwide fame, he decided to interrupt his journey to visit Shirdi and have Baba's darshan. His initial experience was a mix of emotions. He first met Swami Somdevji, whose description of the arduous journey to Mansarovar filled him with distress and worry. However, upon taking darshan of Sai Baba, his mind became very pleased. This peace was short-lived, as Baba's disposition suddenly changed, and He ordered the sannyasi to be sent away, leaving the newcomer confused and distressed by Baba's perplexing nature, as narrated in the verses of Chapter 31.
