Who was the sannyasi Vijayananda, and what happened when he arrived in Shirdi according to Chapter 31?

According to Chapter 31 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, Vijayananda was a sannyasi from Madras who was traveling to Mansarovar. On his way, he stopped in Shirdi after hearing about the world-renowned fame of Sai Baba, holding a strong desire for His darshan. In Shirdi, he met Swami Somdevji from Haridwar, who informed him about the extreme difficulties of the journey to Mansarovar, which was 500 miles away and fraught with challenges like heavy snow and language barriers. This news left Vijayananda dejected and worried. Although taking Sai Baba's darshan initially pleased his mind, Baba's subsequent strange command to 'send away this sannyasi' caused him further distress.
