During the Ram Navami fair, two large ceremonial flags were carried in a grand procession to the Masjid. As explained in Chapter 0, these two flags came from two different devotees. The first flag was provided by Ra. Shankarrao Raghunath Deshpande, also known as Nanasaheb Nimonkar. He was a respected leader and Honorary Magistrate from Nimon who became a devoted servant of Maharaj in his later years. The second flag came from Damu Shet Kasar of Ahmednagar, who started the tradition as a vow of gratitude after Maharaj blessed him with a son.
