The collection of Maharaj's Leelas was undertaken by Ra. Govind Raghunath, also known as Annasaheb Dabholkar. As noted in Chapter 0, this was not an unauthorized work. The text explicitly states that the beginning of this verse-work was made with Maharaj's direct permission while he was still in the body. Annasaheb Dabholkar composed a large part of this collection in verses called Ovis. At the time the introduction was written, thirty-five chapters of this significant work were already completed, ensuring that the stories of Maharaj's life would be preserved and prove beneficial to all.
Who was responsible for documenting Maharaj's Leelas, and did they have permission to do so?
