Mhalasapati was a devotee who shared an exceptionally close and intimate relationship with Maharaj. According to Chapter 0, Maharaj would alternate sleeping between the Masjid and the Chavadi. On the nights Maharaj slept in the Masjid, Mhalasapati would devotedly sit with him until dawn, and they would engage in very affectionate conversations. This routine continued without fail until Mhalasapati's passing. He was known for being highly advanced spiritually, completely selfless, and served as a source of guidance and comfort for other devotees, becoming a 'place of rest for his devotees' after Maharaj. He passed away in Bhadrapad Shake 1844.
