Who was Mavshibai and what was her relationship with Sai Baba?

Mavshibai was a devoted female follower of Sai Baba. According to the account in Chapter 24, Baba himself affectionately called her 'Mother' (Aai), and this led to others calling her Mavshibai, which means 'aunt'. Her original name was Venubai, with the surname Kaujalgi. The text notes she was a widow of mature age who possessed 'incomparable devotion to Sai's feet.' She served Baba with great passion and a pure heart, fearlessly pressing his stomach while absorbed in his name. Baba's use of the term 'Mother' for her was central to how he ultimately resolved her humorous quarrel with Damu Anna.
