Who was Madhavrao Deshpande and what was his role in Dixit Kaka's journey to Shirdi?

Madhavrao Balwant Deshpande was a resident and priest of Shirdi, as identified in Chapter 51. His role in Kakasaheb Dixit's journey was that of a divinely appointed guide. He happened to be in the area when Nanasahib Panshe and Appasahib Gadre spotted him. Knowing Dixit was anxious to go to Shirdi, they sent Madhavrao to meet him at Mirikar's house. This meeting, recounted in Chapter 51, led to them planning the trip together. Madhavrao then accompanied Dixit, was entrusted with Baba's portrait, and narrated nectar-like stories of Baba to Dixit during the train journey, making the travel pass happily.
