Who was Madhavrao Deshpande and how did he end up traveling to Shirdi with Kakasaheb Dixit?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 51

Madhavrao Balwant Deshpande, referred to as the priest of Shirdi, played a pivotal role in Kakasaheb Dixit's journey. As recounted in Chapter 51, Nanasaheb Panshe and Appasahib Gadre chanced upon Madhavrao and told him that Dixit Kaka, who was very eager to visit Shirdi, was at Mirikar's house. They urged Madhavrao to meet him, believing he was the perfect person to accompany Dixit. Madhavrao was formally introduced to Dixit by Balasaheb, and they quickly made a plan to travel together on the ten o'clock night train. Balasaheb then entrusted a portrait of Baba to Madhavrao, and together, he and Dixit set off for Shirdi with the sacred image.
