Who was Kashiram Shimpi and what was the nature of his service to Maharaj?

Kashiram Shimpi was one of Sai Baba's earliest and most devoted followers in Shirdi, alongside Mhalasapati and Appa Jagle. As detailed in Chapter 0, Kashiram served Maharaj with his body, mind, and wealth. His service was extensive and personal; he stitched and gifted Maharaj a green kafni and a green cap, although Baba usually wore white. Furthermore, Kashiram took a vow to provide Maharaj with chillum, tobacco, and firewood for his Dhuni. His devotion was so absolute that he would place his entire money bag before Maharaj, inviting him to take as much as he wished.
