Gopalrao Gund was the Revenue Circle Inspector of Kopargaon who, as mentioned in Chapter 0, became a total devotee of Maharaj after being blessed with a son. He observed that the Masjid was dilapidated and resolved to rebuild it, collecting a large number of stones for the construction. However, Maharaj did not permit him to build the Masjid, explaining that the task was destined for another devotee.
