Who was Damu Anna and what was his specific devotional practice related to the Shirdi festivals?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 25

Damu Anna was a wealthy Kasar (bronze-smith) from Ahmednagar and a devoted follower of Sai Baba. His story, found in Chapter 25, showcases Sai's protective nature. His devotion was notably expressed through his involvement in the annual Ram Navami festival in Shirdi. He had a long-standing vow to provide one of the two large new flags that were carried in a procession through the village. This act, which he performed for many years with uninterrupted love, started from Kondaji Sutara's house and concluded with the flags being tied to the Masjid, demonstrating his deep and public commitment.
