Who was Damu Anna and what was his connection to Sai Baba as introduced in the Satcharitra?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 25

Damu Anna was a wealthy Kasar (bronze-smith) from Ahmednagar who is described as a devoted follower of Sai Baba. Chapter 25 introduces him by highlighting his deep faith. A significant part of his story is that while he had two wives, he was without children until he received Sai Baba's blessings and was blessed with sons. His devotion is also exemplified by his long-standing vow to provide one of the two large flags for the annual Ram Navami festival procession in Shirdi, a duty he performed with uninterrupted love and devotion for many years.
