Who was Dadasaheb Khaparde and how did he behave in Sai Baba's presence?

📖 Chapter 27

Dadasaheb Khaparde was a very distinguished and learned man, known for his expertise in English education and his powerful oratory in the Legislative Assembly. Despite his prominent status, his behavior before Sai Baba was marked by profound humility. As described in Chapter 27, he would join his hands and bow his head at Baba's feet, observing a vow of silence. While many other devotees would talk freely with Baba, Khaparde, along with Noolkar and Butti, chose to remain silent, simply absorbing Baba's presence. This silence from a man who could teach the Panchadashi of Vidyaranya demonstrated how the brilliance of scholarship dims before the spiritual radiance of a Pure Brahman like Sai.
