Who was Chandbhai and what was his role in Sai Baba's story?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

Chandbhai was the Patil of a village named Dhupkhede and was instrumental in bringing Sai Baba to Shirdi. Their first meeting, as narrated in Chapter 0, occurred when Chandbhai was searching for his lost horse. Baba, then an unknown fakir, told him where to find the horse and also performed a miracle by striking his tongs on the ground to produce fire for a chillum. Deeply impressed by these events, Chandbhai insisted Baba come to his home. The narrative in Chapter 0 clarifies that it was from Chandbhai's house that Baba later traveled with a wedding procession to Shirdi, initiating his long history with the village.
