Who was Chand Patil and what was his role in Baba's story?

Chand Patil was a fortunate Muslim man and the village head of Dhup, located in the Aurangabad district. His role was instrumental in facilitating Sai Baba's return to Shirdi. As narrated in Chapter 5, Patil had lost his mare and, while searching for it, encountered Baba sitting under a mango tree. After witnessing Baba's miraculous powers—locating the mare and creating fire and water from the earth—Patil developed immense faith. He invited Baba to his home and later, when his wife's nephew's wedding procession was heading to Shirdi, Baba accompanied them, which ultimately led to Baba taking up permanent residence there.
