Who was Chand Patil and what circumstances led to his first encounter with Sai Baba?

Chand Patil was a fortunate Muslim man and the village head of Dhup village in the Aurangabad district. His story begins with a personal crisis: he had lost his mare and searched for her for two months without success. As described in Chapter 5, he became completely disheartened and was returning from a fruitless trip to Aurangabad with the mare's saddle slung over his back. It was during this journey, while he was grieving his loss, that he came upon a mango tree. Underneath this tree, he encountered a Fakir, who was Sai Baba, thus setting the stage for their significant meeting.
