Who was Bapusaheb Jog and how was he miraculously cured of a scorpion sting?

Bapusaheb Jog was a devotee of Sai Baba whose remarkable healing is recounted in a footnote in Chapter 33. One evening, after being stung by a scorpion, he immediately went to see Baba at the mosque. As he was climbing the steps, Baba asked what was wrong. Upon hearing that a scorpion had stung him, Baba simply declared, "It will be alright, go!" Bapusaheb Jog turned to leave, and before he had even exited the compound, the severe pain from the sting completely vanished, demonstrating Baba's power to heal with just his words.
