Balaram Dhurandhar was a supreme devotee of Sai Baba from a well-known family in Mumbai. Chapter 51 describes him as a highly accomplished individual both professionally and spiritually. Born in 1878, he was well-versed in Western education and held the title of Advocate. He was also a philosopher and a renowned scholar who performed intense social service, even writing a social history. His personal qualities were exemplary, including 'an attractive presentation of logic, a simple and pure way of thinking, sharp intellect, and good conduct.' Spiritually, he gained expertise in reading the Bhagavad Gita and Dnyaneshwari before he passed away at a young age in 1925.
