Who was Balabuva Satarkar, and what circumstances led him to perform the Ram Navami Kirtan in Shirdi?

📖 Chapter 6

Balabuva Satarkar, a Haridas from Satara also known as the 'Modern Tukaram,' had a desire to have Sai Baba's darshan. As detailed in Chapter 6, his usual annual commitment to perform the Ram Navami Kirtan at Siddha-Kavthe was cancelled due to a plague outbreak in the village. This provided him with the opportunity to travel. He met with the devotee Dixit and expressed his wish to perform in Shirdi. After Dixit secured Baba's approval, Balabuva came to Shirdi, had his darshan, and performed the entire Ram Navami festival with great love and novelty, fulfilling his desire.
