Who was Balabuva Satarkar and how did he end up performing the Ram Navami Kirtan in Shirdi?

πŸ“– Chapter 6

Balabuva Satarkar was a renowned Haridas, famous for his Bhajans and known as the 'Modern Tukaram'. As described in Chapter 6, he originally resided in Satara and had an annual grant to perform the Ram Navami Kirtan at a holy place called Siddha-Kavthe. However, one year, a plague struck Kavthe, leading to the cancellation of the festival. This unforeseen event provided him the opportunity to fulfill his desire for Sai Baba's Darshan. He met with Bhausahab Dixit and expressed his wish to perform in Shirdi. After Dixit secured Baba's approval, Balabuva came to Shirdi and performed the entire Ram Navami festival with great love and novelty.
