Who was Balabuva Satarkar and how did he end up performing at the Ram Navami festival in Shirdi?

📖 Chapter 6

Balabuva Satarkar was a renowned Haridas, also known as the 'Modern Tukaram' for his devotional singing. As detailed in Chapter 6, he typically performed the Ram Navami Kirtan at Siddha-Kavthe, but one year the festival was cancelled due to a plague. This gave him the opportunity to fulfill his desire for Sai Baba's darshan. He met with the devotee Dixit, expressing his wish to perform Kirtan in Shirdi. After Dixit secured Baba's permission and assured him about the travel, Balabuva came to Shirdi and performed the entire Ram Navami festival with great love, much to the satisfaction of himself, Baba, and all the devotees.
