Who was Balabuva Satarkar and how did he come to perform at the Ram Navami festival in Shirdi?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 6

Balabuva Satarkar was a Haridas, famous as the 'Modern Tukaram' for his Bhajans, who resided in Parel, Mumbai. As detailed in Chapter 6, he had a long-standing commitment to perform the Ram Navami Kirtan at Siddha-Kavthe. However, one year the festival was cancelled because a plague struck the village. This unexpected turn of events provided him with the opportunity to pursue his desire for Sai Baba's darshan. He met with Dixit and expressed his wish to perform Kirtan in Shirdi. Dixit then sought and obtained Baba's permission, leading to Balabuva Satarkar performing the entire Ram Navami festival in Shirdi with great novelty and love.
