Who started the tradition of bringing ceremonial flags to the Masjid for Ram Navami?

The tradition of bringing two large ceremonial flags to the Masjid during the Ram Navami fair was started by two devotees. According to Chapter 0, one flag came from Ra. Shankarrao Raghunath Deshpande, also known as Nanasaheb Nimonkar. The second flag was brought by Damodar Savlaram, or Damu Shet Kasar, from Ahmednagar. Damu Shet's contribution was a vow he took after receiving Maharaj's blessing for a son, a vow that is described as still ongoing. These two flags were taken in a grand procession and tied at two ends of the Masjid.
