The wooden plank was a gift from a devotee named Nanasaheb Dengle. As Chapter 0 recounts, Nanasaheb's faith in Maharaj was profound after being blessed with a son. Seeing Maharaj sleeping on the dusty ground of the run-down Masjid, he brought the plank for Maharaj's comfort. Maharaj used it by hanging it from the rafters, which became a spectacle.
