Liberation, or Moksha, can be attained by the person who gains the knowledge of the unity between Brahman and the Soul. Chapter 50 is very clear that there is no other path to this state. The text defines Moksha as "abiding in one's own form" and states this can only happen through the removal of the 'causal' body, which is pure ignorance. The text specifies, "Only the knowledge of the unity of Brahman and the Soul—by that alone is the removal of this body." It reinforces this by saying, "Other than this, there is no other liberation." Therefore, the seeker who successfully realizes this non-dual unity is the one who achieves ultimate freedom.
Who is capable of attaining Moksha, or liberation, and what is the sole method for doing so?
