Who initiated the idea for the annual fair in Shirdi, and what challenges were faced in establishing it?

The idea for an annual fair, or Jatra, to be held in honor of Maharaj was first conceived by Gopalrao Gund. He presented this concept to Tatya Patil, Dada Kote Patil, and Madhavrao Deshpande, who all liked the idea and agreed to help organize it. According to the narrative in Chapter 0, their efforts were met with resistance from the Kulkarni of that time, who created obstacles that resulted in the collector issuing an order prohibiting the fair. Ultimately, a counter-order was obtained, and by Maharaj's command, it was decided the fair would be held on Ram Navami, a tradition that has continued ever since.
