Who did the sannyasi Vijayananda meet in Shirdi, and what information was he given about his journey to Mansarovar?

According to Chapter 31, upon his arrival in Shirdi, the sannyasi Vijayananda met Swami Somdevji of Haridwar. When Vijayananda inquired about the journey to Mansarovar, Swami Somdevji provided a sobering account of the difficulties involved.
