Who did Sai Baba say would actually be the author of his life story?

In Chapter 2, Sai Baba reveals that although a devotee was tasked with keeping a record, He himself would be the true author. He gave His assurance, stating, "He is merely a pretext; I myself shall write my own story!" Baba explained that for a devotee who dissolves their ego and surrenders completely at His feet, He provides full assistance. He promised to enter with 'I-ness' and write with His own hand, making the human author just an instrument for the divine work to be accomplished.
