Who authored the Shri Sai Satcharita, and what was the process of its initial publication?

The Shri Sai Satcharita was written by the late devotee Shri Govind Raghunath, who was also known as Annasaheb Dabholkar. He composed this sweet and inspirational biography about the modern saint Shri Sachidanand Samarth Sadguru Sai Baba Maharaj of Shirdi. As detailed in Chapter 0, this significant work was not published all at once. It was released serially, chapter by chapter, over a span of six years in the Shri Sai Leela magazine, and was only recently completed with a concluding chapter at the time this preface was written.
