Who actually took Baba's portrait to Shirdi, and from where did they start?

The individuals who took Baba's portrait to Shirdi were Madhavrao Balwant Deshpande and Kakasaheb Dixit. As recounted in Chapter 51, the repaired portrait was being kept at Kakasaheb Mirikar’s house in Nagar. Balasaheb, who had overseen the repairs, entrusted the portrait to Madhavrao, telling him and Dixit to go happily to Shirdi in Baba's company. Taking the portrait with them, Madhavrao and Dixit set out with joyful hearts from Mirikar's house and went to the station to begin their journey to Shirdi that very night.
