Who, according to Sai Baba's teaching, must be satisfied first before one can properly pursue God?

📖 Chapter 32

According to the philosophy of Sai Baba presented in Chapter 32, the primary person who must be satisfied before any spiritual endeavor is oneself. Baba taught that one should "First satisfy the soul of the self," meaning one must eat before trying to realize God. He believed that God is not attained on an empty stomach because a fasting person's mind is not peaceful. The text explains that all the senses require strength from food to function properly in devotion; otherwise, the eyes cannot see God, the tongue cannot describe His glory, and the ears cannot hear it. Therefore, the devotee's own physical needs must be met first.
