Which sacred texts were primarily read in Shirdi under Sai Baba's direction, and who was assigned to read them?

📖 Chapter 18

According to the accounts in Chapter 18, the two main books emphasized by Sai Baba were the Bhagavad Gita and the Bhagavat. Specifically, the texts read daily were Jnandeva's Bhavartha Deepika (a commentary on the Gita also known as Jnaneshwari) and the eleventh Skandha of the Bhagavat, referred to as Nath Bhagawat. Baba assigned the task of reading these divinely inspired books to his devotees. For instance, he gave this assignment to Sakharam Hari Jog, and later to Bapusaheb Jog, who would read daily in Sathe’s Wada with great discipline and provide explanations of the meaning for the benefit of all listeners.
