Which dual merit does a writer gain by composing a detailed poetic Guru biography for others to study?

📖 Chapter 0

The act of writing a detailed poetic biography of a Guru provides a dual benefit to the author. As explained in Chapter 0, the first and most direct benefit is that the writer performs Guru service through the act of creating the biography. At the same time, a second merit is gained when other devotees study and perform Parayans of this work. By enabling others to connect with the Guru and achieve the purpose of their lives, the writer gains the merit of serving God in humanity, referred to as Jan-Janardan, and performing a valuable public service.
