Where did Sai Baba live before the mosque, and what was he like back then?

Before he made the mosque his permanent residence, Sai Baba lived for a long time in a place called the Takia, which is described as a resting place for Fakirs. As recounted in Chapter 5, during his time there, he remained largely undisturbed. It was in the Takia that he would engage in devotional practices that were both beautiful and sweet. The text mentions that he would tie bells to his feet and dance beautifully to the rhythm of a small tambourine, or khanjiri. He would also sing sweetly with love, showcasing a side of his devotional expression that predated his later years in the mosque.
