When worldly relations fail, who is ultimately responsible for achieving one's spiritual goal?

📖 Chapter 45

Chapter 45 explains that worldly relations like one's mother, father, son, or wife cannot be fully relied upon as companions in achieving the spiritual goal. Each has their own attachments and motivations. Upon final reflection, the text concludes that only one's own self remains at the end. Therefore, the person who will achieve the spiritual goal is the one who gives up hope in others, maintains strong self-confidence, and resolves to make the effort themselves. The responsibility for one's spiritual liberation ultimately rests with the individual seeker.
