When did the family of the boy with the bone-cyst finally decide to seek help from Sai Baba in Shirdi?

According to Chapter 34 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, the family decided to go to Shirdi only after exhausting all other possible options. The boy's uncle was a degree-holding doctor, and he, along with his physician friends and expert surgeons, tried numerous treatments, including surgery. When all native and foreign medical efforts failed and the painful disease showed no improvement, the relatives first suggested worshiping deities. It was only after these remedies reached their absolute limit and word reached their ears of a famous saint in Shirdi who could cure incurable diseases that they decided to make the journey as a final resort, hoping Sai's Udi could avert the calamity.
