When did Kakasaheb Dixit first have darshan of Sai Baba, and what led to this meeting?

Kakasaheb Dixit had his first holy sight of Sai Baba on the second of November in the year 1909. This meeting was the result of a chain of events that began during a trip to England, where his foot slipped and he became lame. As Chapter 4 explains, this seemingly unfortunate accident was described as an auspicious 'Guru-Pushyamrit' yoga. Upon his return, he met Chandorkar, who told him about Sai's fame and suggested his lameness could be cured. This physical ailment was the primary catalyst for seeking Sai's darshan. Dixit returned for a second visit in December of that same year, already wishing to become a resident of Shirdi.
