When did Dixit first have the darshan of Sai Baba, and what were the circumstances that led to this meeting?

The events leading to Dixit's meeting with Sai Baba were quite unique. While in England, he had an accident that left him with a lame foot. Though this seemed unfortunate, Chapter 4 describes it as a "Guru-Pushyamrit" yoga, an auspicious event in disguise. This injury led him to meet Chandorkar, who told him about Sai's fame. Dixit, however, was more concerned with the "lameness of the mind" than his physical ailment. As recorded in Chapter 4, Dixit had the holy sight of Sai for the very first time on November 2, 1909. He then returned for a second darshan in December of the same year.
