What were the two conditions Kaka Mahajani's friend made before agreeing to go to Shirdi?

According to Chapter 35, Kaka Mahajani's friend was a devotee of the formless and was hesitant to visit a saint. He agreed to accompany his friend to Shirdi out of curiosity, but he established two firm conditions for his visit. The first condition was that he would not bow his head to Sai Baba. The second condition was that he would not provide any Dakshina, or offering. He made it clear to Kaka Mahajani that he would only come if these two stipulations were agreed upon before they set out from Mumbai.
