What were the significant events immediately preceding and following Sai Baba's Mahasamadhi as detailed in Chapter 44?

📖 Chapter 44

According to Chapter 44 of the Sai Satcharitra, Sai Baba, knowing His end was near, spent His final days in a profound spiritual act. For fourteen days and nights, He listened with focused contemplation to the Ramayana being recited by a Brahmin. This period concluded on the day of Vijayadashami, which is when Baba attained the state of bodilessness, or Mahasamadhi. Immediately after His breath left His body, the text notes that Laxman-mama performed worship and Jog performed the Aarti. This was followed by a twenty-six-hour period of intense deliberation between Hindu and Muslim devotees regarding the final rites and the location for His tomb.
