What were the preparations and decorations for the Chavadi procession in Shirdi?

The Chavadi procession was a grand celebration marked by extensive preparations and festive decorations. According to the descriptions in Chapter 37, the entire area was transformed. Arches and toranas (garlands) were erected at crossroads, and flags fluttered high in the sky. The vicinity of the Masjid was illuminated by many rows of lamps. The horse, Shyamakarna, stood decorated at the courtyard gate. Messengers would light torches, and a palanquin was decorated for the procession. Mace-bearers stood at the door, shouting slogans of victory. As the procession began, the festive air was amplified by musical instruments and fireworks like 'Nale' and 'Chandrajyoti', creating a dazzling spectacle.
