What were the different ways Kashiram expressed his devotion, and were they all directed by Sai Baba?

📖 Chapter 0

Kashiram demonstrated his devotion through various forms of service, as detailed in Chapter 0. His service to Sai Maharaj was extensive: he provided body, mind, and wealth, stitching a green kafni, vowing to supply tobacco and firewood, and offering large sums of Dakshina. Maharaj worked to purify his pride associated with these offerings. Separately, Kashiram also engaged in a different pious act not directed by Maharaj. He followed the advice of another saint, Janakidas Baba, by carrying powdered sugar to feed ants. This shows that while his primary devotion was to Maharaj, his spiritual life also included practices guided by other holy figures.
