Subsequently, when they were in a forest with no fire, Maharaj performed a miracle by striking his tongs on the ground to produce flames for his chillum. Deeply impressed, Chandbhai insisted Maharaj stay at his home. It was from there that Maharaj later joined the wedding procession of Chandbhai's relative, which ultimately brought him to Shirdi.
