What were some of the seemingly Hindu rituals and objects found in the mosque where Sai Baba lived?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 7

The mosque where Sai Baba resided was unique because it housed many elements typically associated with Hindu worship. Chapter 7 details several of these. A sacred fire, or Dhuni, burned there continuously, day and night. The sounds of ringing bells and blowing conches, common in Hindu temples, were also heard in the mosque. Furthermore, practices like offering to the fire, constant Bhajan (devotional singing), ritual washing of feet, and the distribution of food took place there. The text also mentions a specially made Tulsi Vrindavan (an altar for the holy basil plant) was present, reinforcing the blend of practices that made Baba's dwelling a place beyond conventional religious boundaries.
