People were fascinated, but no one could ever witness him climbing up or down. When this attracted too many onlookers, Maharaj broke the plank to remove the distraction. Similarly, when Gopalrao Gund wanted to rebuild the Masjid, Maharaj withheld permission, redirecting the collected stones to be used for other temples instead, showing his plans were not always what others expected or intended.
